The Sunderland based Nissan factory produced 374,000 units in its last financial year, exporting over 80% of that amount.
Sales won’t stop there either, for 2010 a new design will arrive for the Nissan Micra, which will be built in the Sunderland based plant.
Nissan have released a image that gives no indication of what the future holds for the Micra, except it will be developing a new A-segment platform, which will be used for three models at the minimum.
